mckinney boyd high school football booster club endowment
This endowment was established to support and encourage Boyd football athletes who choose to pursue higher education.
One $2500 scholarship will be given to the Senior player that possesses the highest grade point average. (assuming he satisfies all of the criteria listed below) The remaining $1500 scholarships will be given to the nine (9) Senior players that best fir the criteria listed below.
Below is a list of criteria that is considered favorable for this scholarship.

Must have a high school GPA of 2.5 or higher

Must be a Senior

Must have left the Bronco Football program in good standing

Must have qualified for a letter as a Senior

Must have no McKinney ISD extra-curricular contract violations during his Senior year

Applicant will be required to write an essay on the following subject: “How Bronco Football has impacted my life and how it will continue to impact my life in the future.”

Applicant must have two recommendation letters from two different teachers they have had in high school. The teachers cannot be football coaches.
