About the Donor:
The McKinney Boyd chapter of the National Honor Society is a high school organization administered by a national organization call the National Association of High School Principals. Membership to the National Honor Society is obtained by meeting the minimum criteria listed int he chapter’s by-laws. Members must maintain membership in good standing by completing the required number of volunteer hours and remaining current on annual dues.
The purpose of this endowment is to provide scholarships to qualified MBHS-NHS members.
Below is a list of criteria that is considered favorable for this scholarship.

Candidate must be a member in good standing with the MBHS chapter of NHS

Candidate should demonstrate in their application, essays, and letters of recommendation a commitment to the four pillars of the National Honor Society: Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Character
