mckinney high school pto endowment
In April 2007 the McKinney High School PTO funded a $20,000 permanently endowed scholarship in order to assist graduation seniors of McKinney High School to seek a college education.
The purpose of this endowment is to fund scholarships to MEF applicants who meet the criteria set forth by the MHS PTO. The MEF Scholarship Committee shall choose the recipients from he scholarship based on the criteria.
Below is a list of criteria that is considered favorable for this scholarship:

Graduate of McKinney High School

Top 30% of his/her graduating class

Student should positively impact MHS through a leadership position within a campus organization

Student who will be receiving another scholarship through MEF will not be considered for the MHS PTO scholarship
