Inspiring Innovation in the Classroom
MEF Educator Grants provide funding for creative classroom projects, technology, materials, and learning experiences that may not be covered by traditional school funding. These grants empower McKinney ISD educators to bring meaningful ideas to life and create engaging opportunities for students across the district.
Opening Doors Through Scholarships
MEF helps McKinney ISD seniors take their next steps with confidence. Since 1991, the Foundation has awarded more than $11 million in scholarships to graduating students pursuing college, university, and career-training opportunities.
In 2026 alone, MEF awarded $692,300 in scholarships to 364 MISD seniors.
Guiding Students Toward Their Futures
MEF places a full-time College Advisor at each of McKinney ISD’s three high schools. Advisors provide personalized assistance with college applications, financial aid, scholarships, career planning, and other postsecondary opportunities.
Since the program began in 2004, McKinney ISD students have earned more than $270 million in outside scholarships with support from MEF College Advisors. The advisors provide more than 3,000 student appointments each year.
